Now it is official that the opening ceremony of the European universities championships in Beach Voleyball will be hold at the summer outdoor swimming pool in Žusterna. The EUC opening ceremony will start on Sunday, July 21st, at 19.00 local time.
After carefully re-considering the advantages and the disadvantages of the locations the EUC organizers with their local partners came to the decision, the official opening ceremony of the European universities championship in Beach Volleyball will be hold at the summer outdoor swimming pool in Žusterna, as originally planned.
At the same place the EUC in Waterpolo will be hosted during the same period. This location is much closer to the EUC Beach Volleyball venues and the meals will be served just across the street.
Because the opening ceremony will take part at the city beach, there will be much more spectators, the opening ceremony will take place in a beautiful sea area, with a spectacular sunset and the final magic touch under the summer sky enlighted by stars.
