Adriano Paço, the Technical Delegate of the European University Sports Association of the European Union for Beach Volley, will visit us on Monday. Together with the organizers of the European Universities Championships, which will be held at the new Beach Volley park in Koper at the end of July 2019, he will check all venues of the championship.

The delegate will have a good look at the new beach volleyball courts, the facilities where the players from all over Europe will be accommodated next year, the venue of the ceremonial opening of the championship and will also check the accommodation facilities for the judges, delegates and other officials of the EUC.

In addition, mr. Paço will be welcomed in the office of the Mayor of the Municipality of Koper as well as by the highest representatives of the University of Primorska. This technical visit will be very important for the organizers, as it is part of the official program of the championships, and especially because only after the end of the visit we will know exactly what has still to be done in the next months.

The visit of  mr. Paço will be the first of at least two similar ones, which are expected in the near future. In December there should be a technical overview of the facilities and venues for the first European Universities Water Polo Championships, which will be hosted in Koper at the same time as that in Beach Volleyball EUC ext summer.

And in the year 2019 we also expect the visit from a technical delegate for Floorball, because Koper will host the Floorball World University Championships (WUC) in the year 2020.
